BJJ Sequence

Terms of Service

Effective October 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of BJJ Sequence, a web-based training notebook operated by an independent developer. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. Use accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.

2. The service

BJJ Sequence helps you organize personal Brazilian jiu-jitsu training notes, technique cards, routes, practice records and review observations. Features may change as this early-stage product develops. Beta or prototype features may be less reliable and will be identified where practical.

3. Training and health disclaimer

BJJ Sequence is an organizational tool, not coaching, medical advice, diagnosis, emergency guidance or a substitute for qualified instruction. Combat sports involve risk. Train within your ability, follow gym rules, obtain appropriate supervision, and consult a qualified professional about injuries or medical concerns.

4. Your content and other people

You keep ownership of content you create. You give BJJ Sequence a limited permission to host, copy, process and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service. You are responsible for your content and must have permission to record or upload any person shown or heard in photos, audio or video. Do not upload unlawful, abusive, infringing or privacy-violating material.

5. Sharing, remixes and the Library

What sharing allows. When you share a card or a series, you allow BJJ Sequence to display it publicly, list it in the Library, and let other users read it and save their own copy into their account, where they may edit it and add their own notes. You can stop sharing at any time; copies other users have already saved are theirs to keep.

Remixes. You may share notes you wrote yourself, and your own version of a card someone else shared (a “remix”), including in the Library, as long as you keep the original's credit line and add your own understanding. Do not remove credits, present someone else's notes as your own, or share material you are not allowed to share, such as paid course content copied in bulk.

Our decisions. The Library is curated by us. We decide, at our discretion, which shared notes are listed, featured, kept, edited for credit, or taken down, and we may do so without notice. If you are the original author of notes that appear in someone else's remix, or you believe shared content infringes your rights, contact support@bjjsequence.com with the page link. We review each request, may talk with the people involved, and decide case by case, for example keeping a remix with clearer credit or removing it. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory law, including valid legal notices about infringement.

Author profiles and tips. The author name, bio and social links you enter are shown publicly on your shared pages. A “Support the author” link, where shown, is set up by us for that author and leads to a third-party service; tips go directly to the author, and BJJ Sequence does not handle those payments or take a fee.

6. Accounts and acceptable use

Do not share access in a way that bypasses plan limits; probe or attack the service; automate abusive traffic; introduce malware; impersonate others; scrape private content; or interfere with another user. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, payment integrity or legal compliance.

7. Plans and subscriptions

Current plan features and prices are shown before checkout. Basic subscriptions renew monthly or yearly until canceled. Video review hosting is not included in Basic and, if offered, will be a separately described and priced plan. Paddle is the merchant of record for supported international purchases and handles checkout, taxes, receipts and payment methods. You authorize recurring charges shown at checkout.

Early member price. If you stay continuously subscribed to your current plan, we keep the base price you signed up at. Resubscribing after cancellation, or switching plans, uses the price in effect at that time. The tax you actually pay is the amount shown at checkout and on your invoice.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel through the subscription-management link in BJJ Sequence or your Paddle receipt. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, and access continues until then. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, Paddle's buyer terms and mandatory consumer law.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, change or discontinue features. If a material change adversely affects a paid plan, we will provide reasonable notice or an appropriate remedy where required by law. Export your data periodically, especially while the product is early.

10. Intellectual property

BJJ Sequence's software, design, branding and original service content belong to the operator or applicable licensors. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is permitted.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” BJJ Sequence is not responsible for training injuries, decisions made from user-entered notes, third-party services, or indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Ending use

You may stop using the service, export your data and delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for material or repeated violations, fraud, security threats or legal requirements, with notice where reasonably possible.

13. Changes, disputes and contact

We may update these terms and will give reasonable notice of material changes. Applicable mandatory consumer laws remain unaffected. Please contact support@bjjsequence.com first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.
